Cable Tool
Hi All....many years ago I had a small cable tool that allowed you to remobe the trottle cable from the grip side and put it in this small aluminum rubber lined tool with the small rubber hole. Then you could take your WD40 can with spray tube and insert it in the rubber hole in the tool and spray/clean your cables.
I cannot seem to find this tool and have no idea what it is called.
I ask the forum gurus for help!
Thanks!

Got to MotionPro's website. Use the correct lube, not WD40.

+1 Wd-40 is good for moisture displacement, killing weeds, killing black widow spiders. It is not a long term lubricant. I would use a good cable specific lubricant. For general purpose oil, I use RemOil, especially on my firearms.

I've read several times of people using and even people reccomending WD-40 for cable lube. I'm no expert on such parts but I have done a bit of gun work over the years and WD-40 is bad news on guns. It can get gummy both in cold and over long-term use. It also has some other nasty attributes. I like mineral oil for any application where a light viscous lube is needed. Just regular old mineral oil from the drug store or even the grocery or if smell isn't an issue my absolute favorite lube and a proven top penetrating oil is a 50/50 mix of acetone and ATF (auto trans. fluid). You can make a gallon for less than ten bucks and it will out perform any specialty penetrating lube!
