Only wore it to the in-laws for the first few years. Ring sits in a jewelry box now and I don't think it still fits. Just had our 45th and I don't need a reminder about what a great woman I married.

No, for purely practical reasons. When I was working as a mechanic I saw a coworker short his wedding ring on a solenoid. It welded itself there for a little bit before he was able to pull it free. Sure didn't do his finger much good.
Some time later I had my hand in a tight place (doing a clutch on a mini) and couldn't pull my hand out because the ring had snagged. Cured me of wearing hand jewelery.

Saw a guy that almost lost his figure from a solenoid.

Really though I did every day. Sometimes I would take it off if I was working. Once wrenching on the mini van I pulled something in my finger and it swelled up around the ring. I almost had to make an emergency room trip to get it cut off. The ring that is!

Nope, not married no more, but even when I was never wore any kind of jewellery. Too much chance of snagging it on something working or shorting it out. Worked in machine shops and done a lot of welding all my life. Wearing metal don't go with that.
