Default Internal clutch

Hi am looking to fit internal clutch , and internal throttle on my 1978 iron head am using 1ins bars , as I have not done this before , I would love some help or ideas on this .

I can't imagine twisting the grip to actuate the clutch would be very easy on an old Ironhead. There is a significant amount of effort needed to pull that cable and it seems like a twist would be tough.

I would think about a hydraulic clutch mechanism that is cable actuated with the twist grip. Easy peasy.

I'm still wondering about yer moniker. Is it what it sounds like? Got any hotrod pics?

get some 60-71? bars for internal throttle and wires. A 54-69 parts book would help you find the parts. As for internal clutch cable, i have never tried.

Hi have changed to bigger bars and fitting a wider front end ,and have bought the internal throttle , but early days yet have just finished lacing wheels will hopefully finish them this week sometime , and have a long long way to go yet , but the moniker I am an engineer and I build tooling one part is a boxingframe ,sorry nothing grand , so will keep thinking ,I want bars clean so will find a way .
