That's why i asked, I wasn't exactly sure, This being my first bike and all and me being only 18. So now that its established its a circuit breaker, Where should i go from here?

From the photo, it is an auto-reset circuit breaker.
You can get them from an auto parts.
What is the amperage listed on it? 30 amps?
However, if it was getting hot, replacing it may not solve whatever was getting it hot, unless it was internal resistance. |

Found the culprit! Boy do i feel dumb..... I recently changed the handlebars, and it seems as though i pinched the wire for the start button.... Sorry for wasting your time guys! But thanks for the help!

1. Not a waste...a good exercise in the diagnostic process.
2. Since you heated up the circuit breaker, I would strongly suggest that you replace it. |

Cool! Glad you found it! Lots of times if a problem comes on suddenly, especially after we have done some work to our bikes, usually retracing our steps will find something.
I agree replace that breaker. You can pick one up at any of the auto parts places. Just get the same amperage and coat the connections with some silicone grease.
18 years old, good deal! Keep pluggin away at it and don't be afraid to ask questions.
My first street bike was a used 1971 triumph tiger (I was 16 years old when I got it) with Lucas electrics (prince of darkness). Anyways, I learned the hard way with electrics (and everything else) on that bike or I was not gonna ride!
Still ride that bike to this day, but it looks alot nicer now then it did in 1980.
Again, just stay at it and you will be fine. Ride safe. KD
