Default Apes are on!

Got the bike back.

Narrow Glide Apes, Samson Shorty's, Screaming Eagle Air Filter. I now set off car alarms when I pass by, and that's with baffles!

I love it! More pics in gallery.

Default Apes

Those bars are sweet, looking to do the same to my 2005 1200r but have no idea on what is required to do the bar change, could you post what you needed to do and change to complete the bar change.

THANX

I lucked out. The forklift driver at work ran into my stock bike and damaged it (knocked the whole thing over). The boss paid for repairs and was kind enough to let me pick and choose vs. going back to stock. It was actually cheaper than having Harley Davidson put it back to stock.

The bars I got from Licks Cycles online, and I had an Indy dealer do all the work. I know they drilled them out for internal wiring, and had to buy new switches and cables. I hear you can splice the wires without too much trouble, but don't quote me on that. You will definatly have to get new brake and clutch cables. Well worth it in my opinion. I think there is some other posts about doing it yourself on the forum.

Good luck.

I just put those exact same bars from Licks on my bike this last weekend

I'm not sure why you needed new switches??? I put them on the stock 1.5" risers. I added 2" over clutch and throttle cables and a 48" brake line. The wires were long enough for these bars without any extensions being spliced in. I ran my wire internally also.

Damn comfy bars !!!
