Default Boring 1200 cylinders to 1250

Has anyone bored their stock 1200 cylinders out to 1250 ?

Can't get there from here. I believe Turbota bored his out to 1222 cc.

1212 is the max.

Although Turbota and Dan from NRHS will correct me because NRHS did a bore for Turbo and it came to something bigger than that.

But my understanding is that 1212 is pretty much the max on stock cylinders, that would leave a bit for one larger bore if something happened to the cylinders / pistons.

1222 is the max for 883 cyls. You can go about 1235 for 1200 cyls.

But this is getting really thin so we do not recommend more than 1212 for 883s and 1222 for 1200s.

How do the 1250 size barrels have a thicker wall, the 1200 barrels are snug in the cases so they must be stepped outside the case line for strength or just a better material?
