havent been on....
well some of you probably remember that the motor in my ironhead went south...
i ended up selling it and after being "bike-less" for a short amount of time i bought a 1990 FXR that was in need of some help........
I've finished up the FXR (well for now anyhow...paint is still on my "to-do" list) so I thought I'd pop in and say "Hi" to everyone......
even tho I'm not riding a sportster anymore hopefully y'all will still let me hang around...
I've set the FXR up as one of the "sportier" B/T i've seen

My 1982 FXR was my favorite of my dozen Harleys. Owned it from 1982 to 1996.
Here's a photo of it from 1982 with my old lady on it:

Its a 1950 Ford Custom. Its all original. Has a Flat head V8. The neat thing is it has 68000 Original miles! Owned by a little lady in ohio. it looks like it did when it came out the factory! We drove it from ohio to reading with the original tiress! HAHA!
The only problem is the carb. We are currently getting it machined cause the bowl leaks. but we r going to try and keep it original.

I was thinking it was a 50's Ford. The emblem and the tail lights should have tipped me. Is it emerald green or a dark blue?
Either way, it's a beauty!!! So is the bike! Reps to ya...

FXR's rank right up there near the top, your's good and you're always part of the family, like us or not you're stuck with us. Ride safe.

Willi~ Thank you. It is actually a mercades green. That is the only thing not original, the car was green but the son had the worng shade put on.
Sotter~ I live in Hamburg, but my parents live in West Lawn Close to Victors on Penn Ave. They have a garage so we work on things there...And thanks.
