Default Antique bike show pics

Local bike show yesterday in sunny historical downtown Melbourne Fl. I was running late so I didn't get to enter my '64 digger.

Not a lot of XL's but here's what was there:

Nice '58

Rake from hell

Lots of other cool bikes (slide show works best)

Are the fork sliders swapped on the second bike? Brake disc and caliper on right? I wonder if it still rattles like that?

on the chopper, it looks like an oil cooler is mounted right in the way of the air flow needed to cool an air cooled engine. that and his leather pouch. never understood why people do that. seems the oil cooler is defeating the purpose by blocking the cooling airflow to the cylinders thus raising the oil temp. maybe it's just me.

That one wasn't even in the show area but I liked it too so I snapped a pic of it.

Those oil coolers are made to mount on the downtubes like so it should still get enough air flow past it but the bag sure ain't helping. It's hard to tell from the angle in the photo but that Sporty must have had at least a 45 degree rake on it. Probably closer to 50 degree rake and looks like it had a serious case of wheel flop.
