hi i think the xr has a slightly different setup, anybody got a hand drawn diagram that shows eg oiltank to pump , pump to oil filter, oilfilter to ra ra ra. ill be putting in a remote oil filter in there somewhere else well. i have a brass fitting just below the rear pushrod cover thinkin this may be for the rear head drain back to the sump or a vent?? i have a manual but its a bit vague to me, not worried to much about the route of the lines as is a custom setup thanks for any info

If its what I see Page 3-12 in the manual its petty much there, maybe you have something different? Your filter should be after the motor on the tank return line.

Post some pics of your tank, oil pump area, fittings, etc. Not too many [none?] XRs here but someone will be able to help.
