Default Clutch / trans knocking issue

I have an 08 Nightster with just over 25K on her. I have noticed lately that when I slow down between 6-3 mph or so with the clutch lever fully engaged, it feels like there is a hard knocking. It goes away once I stop or accelerate over 6mph. This happens is both 1st & 2nd gear. The clutch has just been adjusted IAW the manual, but the problem didn't go away...Are my plates warped? Clutch shot??? Please help a brother out.

Aloha & Mahalo.

I'm assuming this is the stock clutch? It's a known issue that the spring plate (in the middle of the clutch pack) wears out and leaves parts floating around. Check this thread, I just replaced mine with the energy one and it's really pretty simple.

Could be your primary chain slapping. Has it been adjusted?
