Check this out. I've found you have to be really careful when you put the cover on.

Thanks for the link...
I guess it didnt help that my bike does not even have the front clip shown in the pic, it only has 2, one in the middle, one toward the rear...
So I put a tie-wrap through the hole in the front where the clip should have been..
Its not going anywhere now, but im still pissed that its scuffed up from hanging open..

1. Buy the bracket that holds the oil bag. Two brackets I believe. Buy the one closer to the motor.
2. On the bracket I had to bend the tap to the other side (Cause it made to go on the right side of the bike) to make it work.
3. Screw the bracket to the frame. (The bracket has threads on it.)
4. Place the plastic pin system in place and done.

I did this about 8,000 miles ago...no problems.

Yeah - that looks like a trick setup there...
If I have to open it when Im out on the road, its gonna be hard to find some tie-wraps..

The zip ties for "on the go" solution....I take pride in my ride and projects.
The zip ties break at the worst time too!

I zip tied mine a while ago, has been stuck there since. i carry some side cutters and extra zip ties in case I need to open it somewhere other than in the garage. Dumb Design. I know several folks that have this problem.

Mine was a cheap...kinda a zip tie with a twist as I don't have to cut mine off and you'll pull the bike over before you pull the cover open with the zip tie in it:

We haven't argued this for a few weeks. Here's mine agian. Absolutely not coming off. Can be removed with seat on, without any tools.
