finally finished
Well my 64 is finally finished. As soon as it stops raining i'm gonna go and kick it over for the first time. It has one small oil leak that I gotta go back and fix, the cam cover gasket, and I gotta redo the brake light switch, but other than that she is ready to go.

Should be on her maiden voyage next weekend.

Looks really good. I wouldn't kick it over, it will get scratched. Just kidding, I know you meant to kick start it. Let us know how she rides.

Nice job! Love those pipes and bars. I think you'd improve the lines if you turned those mirrors under the bars. Also curious as to why you bent the rear brake rod the way you did. I'm not all that familiar with the 60s model IHs, but I don't recall seeing a stock one like that. Again, nice job!

I had to put the bend in the brake rod to get around the tail and connect it tot he brake lever. It is not a straight line from my cross shaft to the lever. And I would love to put the mirrors under the bars but they would hit the tank way too easily/ There isn't as much room between the tank and bars as it looks in the pics.

Man, It looks great! I really dig that front end. I can't even the drum brake hub in the rear.

Looks great. You may have the same problem I had on one I built around ten years ago. Damn near zero clearance with the front exhaust. I had to make new brackets and "twist" the exhaust up to get some right hand turning room.
