antique ironheads
since 2/3rds of the ironheads made are eligible being 35 yrs and older, how many forum members are also members of the antiique motorcycle club? those who are not a member , why not?

I dont belong to the AMCA, but believe in their mission to a point. They have a great mag, a nice forum, and some really good people. As with most orgs there seems to be some political issues and undertones from the long timers and the leadership. Still we are better off with than without them. A lot of the national events and swaps are from the local chapters and I try to support the best I can.
The judging is another discussion. I do want to join to gain access to the forum and possibly get a bike judged someday, but at then end of the day I dont care that much and the opinions of my closest XL buddies mean more.

I have been in the past.. my newest bike is a 1970.. everything else is from the 60s.. I have dumped all my 1950s stuff..

I may be the Oldest Guy at the Strip the way I'm Going with my build but there is a strip 15 miles west of me in NJ, Island Dragway.. Just a rocks off Bike to shit my pants..
Hey Don Garlits' first 200 mile run was at this strip in 1960 maybe the wind will be in my favor..
