I've bought several things from yall and over all I am very pleased with it. I have two minor issues. The first is the paint on my coil/ignition relocation mount is flaking. Powder coating might be more durable. A mini-texture would be awesome.
The second is that I could never get the ignition mounting screw to stay tight with the rubber isolator. Once removing the rubber isolator it stayed tight but I was concerned about the vibration prematurely wearing the key/tumbler. Your key relocation kit to the rear of the trans solved that problem for me.
thanks for making a good product. Makes me wish I still had access to my old machine shop.
Oh, and welcome to the forum.
Hey lostNdallas,
Thanks for the welcome AND your business.
We switched to Powder Coat early this year. If you want to send back the one you have we will replace it with a Powder Coated one, no cost.
Out of thousands of these installed we have not had one report of tumbler problems. I have had one on my sporty for over 20K miles and works the same as when I put it there.
The screw should stay tight with some medium blue threadlocker and if it is tightened down so the orange silicone is slightly compressed. If it doesn't the only thing I can think of is that the threads on the metal insert in the stock ignition housing are messed up.

Thanks man!
I will probably just buy another one since my bike never goes unridden for more than two days in a row. I have a powder goat guy here that does a mini-texture which matches the textured cases of my engine anyway.
As for the switch, after I removed the silicone pad is when I noticed the wear on the key and the switch was definitely getting notchy. I like the key location a lot better with the Flex-6 mount anyway.
thanks again,
John
