Default '92 1200 battery cover?
Anybody have a part number for a '92 1200's battery cover? My current cover doesn't fit up right and touches the contacts on the battery. It's also got a terrible parking sticker for a college the guy I got it from went to. I checked with the closest Harley dealer and they couldn't find it, all though they had the battery cover. While we're at it, anybody have an entire parts list for a '92? Thanks in advance!

If I recall correctly the 92's (I bought my 92 that I still own new) the Sportsters did not come stock with a battery cover, assuming you're talking about the one that covers the front of the battery and not the top! That being said you can order one from just about any aftermarket company. Their part numbers may vary.
