No biggie just new grips
Just a lil update. I couldn't keep my billet aluminum grips any more. Though they looked awesome and had the bullets on the end I just couldn't deal with the vibes. Don't get me wrong it wasn't terrible but I think I'm beginning to get a case of carple tunnel. Being an auto tech is tough on the body. So I picked up some Biltwell kungfu grips. A) they where cheap. B) they said they where super comfy. No ride report yet but I can tell you they def. feel awesome.

Comfy grips make a world off difference - for me anyway.
Enjoy them if you get to ride. It's too cold here.
Probably the same in your neck o da woods.

Me either. Put pre-2004 top tree on with a washer to make up the height. This let me use rubber riser bushings.
Added Vibranators and Avon grips. Still not as smooth as my E-glide but way better than it was.

These are much more comfy then my stockers. They have alot of tiny ribs where my stockers where smooth. I don't recall the earlier models I'll have to look into it. Install took all of a couple mins. I didn't take my right hand side controls completely apart just the two torx that hold the switches in. I reused my stock throttle tube being these didn't come with one.

Yeah, the wrong (including stock!) grips can make the bike all but unridable. It didn't take me long to put grips on my shopping list!

Ive been all screwed up. The weekend my boy was born I got to ride the bike the next day to the hospital, cause it was like mid 60s or something rediculus. The grips where more then comfy. The only thing that took some getting used too was theyre thicker in yer hand....as far as circumference theyre larger...but I like them and for the money Id recomend them to any one.
