Default Looking for a place to ride

Every spring a few of us take a short trip from Northern Ohio (Cleveland area) a little south to find some good riding. Two years ago we went to the Tail of the Dragon. It was fun but a bit far of a drive. Last year we went to Charleston, WV and had a blast. Now I am looking for suggestions of areas to go to that may be no more than 4-5 hours away. But will be warm enough in mid May. We usually head out on Thursday morning and head back on Sunday. We do trailer the bikes and it was a good thing last year because we has a ZX-14 casualty 2 hours away from our Hotel plus it rained the whole way back. We like a mixture of twisties and scenic roads.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The "Michigan Posse" seems to do a lot. Might check out this area. They do tend to pile on the miles. Met up with them in PA, KY and probably one or two other places myself.

Late 87-883 Hugger/1380cc (84") conversion. Too many cool parts to list. Built engine on a fresh set of cases, so conversion might not really describe it. Estimated near 115 hp.
Early 87-883/1200 conversion. Wife's bike. SE heads, 1200 flat pistons, 40" Drag Pipes, everything else stock.
