Can anyone point me to the thread that Wilderbeast wrote explaining his hybrid shocks?
I read the thread that XLXR wrote that he used the hybrids.
And I read the 2 threads of 7 pages that XLXR wrote.
Also read Wilderbeast's thread stops like a sport bike.
Just can't come up with his write up on varios shocks and springs,
Been searching but coming uo empty

Low handles and stops like a real sport touring bike

I think this is the thread Whittlebeast describes adding a bigger Harley caliper to the front brake. Keep in mind, these threads have accumulated over 5 or 6 years, so there is a lot of reading if you try to read them all.

Be sure to ask Whittlebeast if he still thinks his (wife's) Low handles and stops like his Yamaha FZ1 ricer bike!!!!!!!

I did read a lot of what Folkie pointed to plus some others. Some I just scanned quickly trying to garner the pertinent info.
I never wanted something to burn up the ground. I converted to 1212 and now want to "adjust" the suspension to feel better. It felt fine with the 883 but for some reason it feels different since the upgrade. Not in a good way. With the 1212 I now enjoy the curves more with the 1212, and want to grab the pavement.
So now I want to change my springs to Dyna springs, readjust the sag, add a fork brace, and redamp the tubes. Those simple upgrades should do want I want.
Some real good stuff in the reading but some is just too technical for this brain.
You guys are the balls. Thanks
