The thing with "meat" and bread is that they go oh so well together. My previous girlfriend I met in college. And I've had many great conversations with female strangers start up while I was innocently (read: baitingly) reading quietly in a coffee shop. Never was much for the bar scene, so I tried to go to places that I hoped would attract the kind of women to whom I would be attracted.

My single friends use pof.com which is plenty of fish.
Not that I would know, but my single coworkers rave about it....

6 years single after 11 year marriage-- although i did strike up what ended up being
a 20 minute conversation with an extremely beautiful woman last night while walking the mall (she works at one of the stores,i just could not keep my eyes from her beauty) -said it was a pleasure to meet me,extended her hand for a nice long handshake, told me her name, and said she was single-- and told me to be sure and stop in and say hi when i visit the mall in the future..guess where i'm going tonight !
what a doll, and great personality--we really seemed to hit it off...now i can't get her off of my mind..
.........btw,any best luck wishes greatly appreciated !!

Ya let us know how it goes,
I do work from home, but have met an attractive younger colleague who does the same kind of work that I do, so shes the competition, not that I have anything to worry about, but I just can't see that working out.

Similar to sportsterpaul, I wanted nothing to do with women. Had it in my head that all they wanted was my money, booze, and drugs, anyway. Also had resigned to living a life of general mayhem. Met her broke down on the road near my place, gave her some gas, and not long after that........It'll hit when it's meant to.

Pete: You got nothing to worry about, it'll happen, just enjoy the peace and quiet for now and get out and ride= that's what a 2 wheel drive Ural is supposed to do in winter time!!!! And if you need to rinse it off afterwards those two gallon garden sprayers do a respectable job.
