My newest pistol and my Christmas present to myself. Sig Sauer 1911 Scorpion. Shoots like a dream and I love it.

I always knew they made good weapons, But I have big hands and most of them aren't a good fit for me. Recently after a long search for a 1911 I decided on Sig Sauer. I am so impressed with this pistol that I am considering purchasing the 229 Elite stainless as
well.

P229R DAK in .40 cal. My favorite things: the grip fits my hand without any modification; the accuracy is very good; and it's the most balanced weapon I've ever fired. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with Sig.

I'd love to get a 229.
I currently have a 226 .40 and a 250r compact .40. I've had a Colt Gold Cup and Ruger P89 MkII and the Sigs are my favorite so far. Natural aiming is a breeze for me and the 250 is ambidex but the 226 isn't bad for my lefty either.

Nice Sig,
Looks identical to the 4.5" Springfield Champion Operator..Is the Sig bushingless with bull barrel too like the SA Champion?? Hard to tell without seeing the business end of the gun?? Just wondering, never put a Sig in my hands, I'm partial to the Speingfield Champion!

I have a Sig Sauer Tac ops. It can with 4 20 round mags!!!!! It's an awesome pistol. It has the short reset trigger, which I'm here to tell you is the best trigger I've ever had on a pistol. It can take a few mags to get used to because once you fire you really don't have to move yuour trigger fingure much before your ready to fire another round. It is very accurate. I love it. Once I got it I sold my glock 26 and ruger sr9 because they just didn't stack up to the Sig in anyway. They just sat there and I had no desire to shoot them. Sigs can be a little bit of money but they're worth every penny. If you get on gunbroker you can buy them for about $200 cheaper from a company called Northern Firearms. They are one of the biggest distributors of Sigs so they can buy and sell cheaper. I got my Tac Ops for $950 and everyone else wanted $1150. I didn't even have to pay sales tax!
