Default Putco Neutron LED

Anyone out there using a Putc Neutron LED for a tail light? I've read that they are the brightest SOB's on the market, but at $50 a pop, I wanted to test the waters before diving in. Any feedback would be appreciated.

One obvious difference is that they do not throw light out to the sides rendering the internal refelctors in our stock lights useless.

^ What he said. I've run LED "replacement bulbs" before, and you end up with a small (<1") dot that's really bright. Works okay (just "okay") at night, but good luck being seen during the day. Bright is nice, but when there's only 3 diodes, it'll be hard to get any kind of coverage.

I'd highly recommend anything from Radiantz. Or at least something with "full coverage" LED boards.
