Anyone out there using a Putc Neutron LED for a tail light? I've read that they are the brightest SOB's on the market, but at $50 a pop, I wanted to test the waters before diving in. Any feedback would be appreciated.
^ What he said. I've run LED "replacement bulbs" before, and you end up with a small (<1") dot that's really bright. Works okay (just "okay") at night, but good luck being seen during the day. Bright is nice, but when there's only 3 diodes, it'll be hard to get any kind of coverage.
I'd highly recommend anything from Radiantz. Or at least something with "full coverage" LED boards.
