Default Metal Flake Paint

Just posted a similar thread over on hdforums, hoping to get more responses.

BUT, on to my question. Who here has had a metal flake paint job? or maybe just the gas tank? what did it run you?

Im trying to get a ballpark estimate so I will know what to expect. I am about to get my tank sprayed with silver flake, and possibly some pinstriping.

Thanks in advance

You can also put flake into the clear coat only...(red flake in clear over black base)

My bike has mild flake, it just gets suspended into the clear coating, price wise it shouldn't be much more..

thats around what I was thinking. Does the bigger or "more chunky" flake add more cost as well? I'd like it to be chunky flakes instead of small, glitter like
