ready to anytime, but can't find any in stock except via online brokers...which I really didn't want to do, but may have too before I implode from excitement. Plus the ones online that haven't been bid on are upwards of $750, then I gotta pay shipping and transfer fee to a FFL dealer. I'd rather wait than cough up more than $800...I don't part well with that much $$$.

I'm not trying to start shit, but that's just not true.
Gun supporters can't be divided up that way.

Who was classifying? All I said was to the extent that its fun getting something others dont think you should have. It's like being the first one on the block with a mini-bike. The parents in the neighborhood will hate you for it, but all the kids will love it.

Believe me, I know the feeling. Madison is very anti-gun and I was the first person I knew of to get a CCW permit. My mother and sister are very anti-gun but I think they're coming around. A lot of people I talk to just assume I agree with their anti-gun stance because I live here and and don't fit their stereotype of a "gun-totin redneck". I love the look on their faces when I pull out my permit without saying anything else.
Anyway, I thought you were implying that it's a Dem vs. Repub thing based upon your "half of the country" statement, and I know it's not that simple. Like I said, not trying to start an argument.

And another thing I see is people target shooting and like for instance using a shotgun, will shoot, then look at to see what they may have hit, and then work the slide. Bad practice if you want to learn to use a gun for self defense
