Rotors dont actually warp. I was a member on a diesel forum where there were many complaints of warped rotors. There was another member who happened to be a brake engineer in the automotive field. He did a good job of explaining that rotors dont warp. Heres a good article on it.
In fact every case of "warped brake disc" that I have investigated, whether on a racing car or a street car, has turned out to be friction pad material transferred unevenly to the surface of the disc. This uneven deposition results in thickness variation (TV) or run-out due to hot spotting that occurred at elevated temperatures.
Throwing out the bullshit flag here...Why you ask?
Warped the front rotor on my new pickup truck, under heavy braking the front end would shake like crazy, replaced the rotor(s)...never replaced the pads, just deglazed them, Topped the fluid off and all front braking was smooth as glass after that point..
