10pm and it's 92 degrees...it's been unreal here for over a week now. Been so hot even the weeds have difficulty growing. Lawns are like cornflakes. All the weak transformers are giving it up as well...every day we get calls to replace them.

In Memphis it is over 100 and humidity is between 50 and 90%. I lived in Colorado for years and 100 there and 100 here is 100 but on the it sucks meter it is really high on the suck meter here. You can't really compare dry heat to this oppressive just pored water on the sauna rocks hot. I am not done with my bike because it is so awful out that I know I won't ride anyway. It is like riding in a blast furnace some days. I went to the lake in with my Kayak and hat was hot as hell. Too hot for the fish to eat.

Yep, I rode the Roadster in to work every evening last week save Friday. Unbelievable how hot the air was blowing over you...like a heat gun trained on me the entire way.

Worse on the scale is the possibility of severe thunderstorms coming up shortly. We badly need the rain, but these storms in this type of weather wreak havok with utility lines in this area. Sometimes makes for really long nights getting power restored.

Default On the road again...

With the Roadster sold I needed a bike to ride on the street from time to time, so I decided to get the TurboCat road worthy once again. Just the essentials added, I may just take it as is to the track when I get back to it. Thinking of upping the displacement maybe this winter when I decide the most cost efficient blend of parts.

Ebay - http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-5-320mm-P...item27c445cb58 - Seem to work just fine.

Not really liking the rear fender. I bought/paid for a chopped Nightster fender here on the forum, but have heard nothing from the guy yet.

Looks nice the way she sits. Didnt know you were gonna sell the roadster. Now that youve had the turbo for awhile and your not constantly pulling WOT runs take a mellow trip down the highway and tell me what kind of mileage you get

Yeah, great improvement over the stockers and the price is right too. Had similar ones on the Roadster and they were perfect.

With no odometer and the lower gearing I'm not sure I would be a proper candidate for mileage results. All I can say is it beats the hell out of my truck.
