I think the IST is starting to adjust a little too. I'll post another vid this evening after I get the 1/2 and 1 mile rides in.

Glad to hear it quieted down. Knew it would. Looking forward to the first lift off of the Grind Rocket, yeah baby!

He not a machinist, that would limit him.
He is a artist that prefers metal as his canvas.
Kind of like saying Salvador Dali is a house painter.

I stand corrected. It was just a slip of the tongue.

Sounds like a plan If I don't have to work Joe.
Rode the bike to work this morning. The front rocker cover is leaking. I'll check for more leaks when the sun comes up. The bike runs great! It doesn't seem to be as torquey at the lower RPMs but cruises effortlessly at 3 grand on the highway. Down shifts feel smoother too. Seems to drop into gear easier. The IST is still running the "safe" ignition map and will take a few more hours to learn what the motor wants. The speedo reads about 5 mph slower than actual speed. That will be fixed when I recieve the diagnostic kit next Thursday. I think these RS-585's will work out fine on the street. Installation isn't that difficult. It took me 30 minutes with a die grinder to clearance the lifter bores. I'd estimate 15 minutes to clearance the cam lobes. So far so good except for the oil leak.
