Sit back and relax, give it a thousand miles or more to break in. I have the narrow and its just barely starting to feel good.

yup. There is a deff. break in period. I don't think it will ever feel like a pillow seat but I have no complaints.

I've been told that same exact thing by a few other Mustang owners. Takes a bit to get broken in. I just got the Mustang Sport Touring a couple weeks ago. I personally liked the feel of it right away. My only complaint was that it was wider.

I had a Mustang vintage solo and hated it. Maybe I didn't give it a shot to break in, since I never even rode with it, lol. Mounted it on the bike, sat on it a couple of times, and sold it . Oh well. Happy with my cheapie Drag Specialties.

If you allow the Mustang to break-in you'll find it a very comfortable motorcycle seat. Even more comfy than most pillow seats.

Well, I must have a sensitive butt, the stock seat hurt after 20 mins, the Mustang solo I can go about 45 mins and I have to get off. I have had the seat two years and at least 15,000 miles and to me it feels the same as the first ride. So much for a break in period.
Even in a car I can only go about two hours and I have to get out and stand up for 5-10mins.

for me the Mustang seat was a big improvement over the stock seat - but yeah, it does get more comfortable over time

I, too, had the Mustang Vintage solo and hated it.
