I'm not hearing anything about valve adjustment.

we need to find out if it was put back together correctly first, then move to valve adjustment

Yes to all, i will start from the beginning, new top end on the bike pistons, valves etc. Put it back together and it ran but was not taking oil from the bag, pulled the oil pump to find it was locked up and cracked, ordere a new pump took the case off to see if the gears were messed up, everything was fine, when i pulled the cover a gear fell out so i re alligned all the gears on there timing marks installed new oil pump, adjusted push rods put all the ignition stuff back on and thats where im at, no running at all

I do have spark, the plugs arent wet but the have a little gas on them and smell like gas. And the popping comes out of the exhaust and carb(fire comes out of the carb) air filter is not on

Valves should be fine my mechanic done them and it ran great. Problems didnt start until after i tore open the cam case to replace the oil pump and retime cams
|
