Gauges glazed over
The gauges (speedo & tach) on my 78 XLCR have turned white. When wet, they are a bit more transparent but then they dry to a white colour again. What can I clean this off with that won't damage the lenses any further? Can it be cleaned or does it need to be polished/ground off? Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks

get a headlight restoration kit.i would do it for you but i think you are little to far for me.i do windsheild repair and headlight restoration.

Its at least a 3 step process.
1) sand off oxydation
2) remove sanding marks
3) glaze and protect.
FLITZ makes a kit that'll work well for the general public. Google FLITZ headlight restore
