How about posting up your weight and where you set the shock preload to get proper rider sag. We are trying to figure out how much weight those shocks with carry.
Former Ricor test rider for IAS Shocks, Intiminators and Vibranators. Works Dual Rate fork springs, fork brace, Avon Venom X tires, loosen drive belt, and set frame rails level to floor. Read the "7 Pages of Suspension" thread in the Suspension Sticky Index to learn how to fix your suspension.
Nice! Couple questions: stock mirrors flipped? And how do whatever they are work? Thanks.
Yep they are the stock mirrors flipped, Got the idea from the 48 I test rode and the mirrors work great in that position. One benefit is that you dont see your arm or shoulder in the mirror like you do when they are right side up. Much more viewing angle, the trade off is you have to look a little further down to see your mirriors. if you have a full face helmet this might be a problem as you would really need to lean your head down vs just glancing down with a half helmet.
p.s the tank gas cap is stock? i have look at it thoroughly and i don't recognise for sure
have a nice day
Yep its stock. I want to put the black flush mount cap on it. Going to black out a few more parts as well, have the headlight ring on the way and want to make the handlebars black and swap out the chrome levers.
Also Im going to be getting a custom paint job for the bike. Midnight blue. If anyone knows a guy in HOuston that does good work, let me know!
