New from Georgia
Hi XLForum Community!
Found this great forum through Google. I bought a 2011 Sportster 1200 Customer last year in May after moving from the Gulf Coast to the Atlanta Area.
I used to ride metric bikes years ago, but had to get rid of the bike due to moving. After discovering the beautiful outdoors of northern Georgia a friend talked me into going to a local HD dealer. I went back the next day... well... the rest is history.
The bike is pretty much stock right now as I was a little strapped for cash. Things are going better now and my must-have's over the next months are:
1. Mustang Vintage Wide Solo Seat with Backrest (the stock seat is killing me when I ride all day).
2. The Peg Mount Cruise Pegs from Kuryakyn (the stock forward controls are to uncomfortable for me at 6'0").
As time goes by - and hopefully some more money comes my way - I'll probably also go for a sissy bar to tie down some luggage. Right now I am taking the backpack approach which will become a problem once I have the backrest.
