Default 08 Nightster recall Number 0613 for the fuel cap fitment.

I just received a recall that affects XLs and Dynas. HD says that sometimes under certain circumstances the cap may not seal and could leak emissions (vapor). They indicate that in some cases they'll have to do a filler neck adjustment. What's to adjust ? You have to be careful that you don't cross thread the cap but other than that I'm not sure exactly what the issue is. Has anyone else received one of these ? Has anyone been to the dealer to have their scoot inspected ? Was your filler neck adjusted ? What exactly did they do ? The recall is dated August 31, 2012. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I'm closing this thread to prevent two on the same topic. The other thread is posted in the Sportster Recalls forum.
