Thumbs up Progressive front springs installed!

I just installed the Progressive front spring kit on my bike.

WOW, what a difference!!!!

I went with the Screamin' Eagle Performance Heavy fork oil, which I was using previously, and it sure changed the riding performane of the front end dramatically. The front-end dive during braking is gone, cornering clearance is better (especially on bumpy roads) and the mushy ride is gone. Much more control, and the ride is better too.

With the 1200S shocks on the back along with the Progressive springs, my scoot rides like a completely different bike- a change for the good to be sure.

My only regret is that I didn't do this mod sooner!!!

Cool Rob.

Where'd ya buy 'em? I'm thinking about asking Santa for a set.

Moker, not to answer for Rob, but knowing his style and the 1200S rears, I'd say there's no way he went lower.

Awesome isn't it? Moker my kit is the lowering kit. You can go from 1 to 2" lower with it. Lower or not, the difference is dramatic when you swap out the crappy stock front springs.

Stock-length springs.

I'm not into the lowered scene, and my riding style needs as much cornering clearance (via lean angle) as I can get.

Progressive does offer the lowering springs if that is what you want though.

I got them from J&P Cycles. They have them for a decent price, and their shipping time wasn't bad at all.

You're right about the length, Erik.... Must be why Bert made ya a mod!

i'm still tryin to decide what i want to do with my shock setup

i don't ride aggressive alot, but i've scraped my pegs before.
not sure if i want to lower it and decrease the turning radius

It's a personal decision based on your riding style.

Keep the bike tall for good cornering performance in the twisties, or low to the ground for looking good while cruising- it's up to you.

Nah, you and I just like the same things.

Bert made me a mod because Stevo and Gary wanted the entertainment.

Did you set the sag or are you just running with the spacers that came with the springs? How do you like the rear shocks?
