HurricaneFlow Air Cleaners
Has anyone tried this setup yet?

I don't know anything about carbs or air cleaners so, how hard is it to modify the breather the way they suggest?
Here's the quote from the page.

Note: to maximize power and reduce carbon build-up, these air cleaners do not route the blow-by from the breathers into the intake tract the way the stock air cleaner does. As such, an alternative breather arrangement is needed. There are many different ways to go. We recommend routing the breathers to a small filter (to absorb the moisture component) mounted underneath the bike, or to a catch can. Also, Sportster models will require a carburetor support bracket. For the hardware needed to do these things, please see "General Accessories for Carbs and Air Cleaners" below.

I got this AC setup. Bolts up direct to the CV carb, or the the HSR carb with a small adaptor plate and still fits under the stock ham can. Best AC on the market as far as Im concerned. Both K&N filter elements are HUGE! Choose from either a 2" or 3" thick version. I use a Drag Specialties bracket/breather assembly.

Nope, The AC itself doesnt connect at all the the breather. The crankcase breather sits behind the AC out of sight. I used Drag specialties part # DS-289126

I also have this setup. I posted several pictures on webshots. I just uploaded them a few minutes ago, so it may take a bit for webshots to upload my album. It is listed in the "Joshuas Harley 2" album.
I took a slightly different approach to the breather. Its not as "clean" as some, but works for me. I mounted a chrome breather the front upper motor mount and ran stainless steel braided line to it. I'm not concerned about oil dripping on the exhaust (if it did, I could always mount the breather on the other side). When I took off my SE setup - after 1300 miles there was NO oil accumulation in the carb neck, nor in the littler rubber breathers that I could see. I have ridden the bike relatively aggressively for the last 1000 miles so dont expect to see any appreciable oil blow by.
The album should be available shortly. The order of the pics/install is "Harley 1" through "Harley 13". If you cannot upload / enlarge the pictures, then try again a bit later.

Thanks for the compliment!
Yes - its the 2". It only sticks out maybe another 1/4" to 1/2" compared to the S.E. I dont even notice it when riding and I'm pretty short (5'8").

that's pretty cool. that braided line makes it look good. big difference over the rubber line
