I would imagine there has been. I heard Bill Clinton was fond of a Lewinster and loved that when he opened the throttle on her, she never sputtered.

yeah ... I always was curious about that Lewinster, couldn't have been a stock induction on that model, must of had a high flow intake !

certainly left the Hillarster in the dust

Yea, but that lewinster was a bit bulky, I would have definitely gone with a sleeker model.

Still crazy after all these years.
Late 87-883 Hugger/1380cc (84") conversion. Too many cool parts to list. Built engine on a fresh set of cases, so conversion might not really describe it. Estimated near 115 hp.
Early 87-883/1200 conversion. Wife's bike. SE heads, 1200 flat pistons, 40" Drag Pipes, everything else stock.
