Been a while since you asked but it looks like the Thunder fairing Tracy did for Sportsters. A little different in the catalog pic but may be a variation on it as they were somewhat customizable, or it could just be the poor pic. I've got a copy of this catalog on the way so I should be able to get better pics to be sure.

I'm guessing that they're meant to be used together. Should be able to tell when the catalog arrives.

BTW, just getting the catalog for better reference pics of how the Black Rain bike is trimmed out.

When I originally posted the pic I said it was a Tracy designs fairing.
It's the same as the red translucent one in your picture..though it looks huge on that bike for some reason...mine was puke red plexiglass as well...I painted it black to match the bike.....sorta fits a 48..better fit on a narrow glide front end
