Default speedo stopped working

i have an 06' 883r and my speedo stopped working along with the neutral indicator. i removed the speedo to mount a fairing and put it back on today to find it not working. whats wierd is all the warning lights illuminate and the speedo backlights are on but the needle doesn't move and the neutral indicator doesnt work either. when i turn the key the flashers blink twice, is this a fault code, and is their a way to reset it? thanks

Try reseating the electrical connectors, take them apart make sure none of the pins slide back then plug them back together. Look for wires that may have broken, usually this happens by the connector where the pins are crimped onto the wires.
