Default whitewalls, or stay black

I'm having trouble picturing it on my bike. I can't envision whether whitewalls would look classic, or look like I'm a tool with a modern bike trying to look classic. What do you think?

I love the look of them personally and think they would look good. However... I could not bring myself to try them when I changed tires due to havng to keep them clean.

Tool

I think they SORTA have their place on a bike when the owner has really gone to lengths to make it look classic - but I'm talking changing paint, wheels, maybe fenders, seat etc...

At the very LEAST you need spokes to pull it off... but I don't think that's enough.

WW's look better on Heritage BTor Deluxe models,

unless your going totally retro putting spokes and blacking everything out, then YES!!!

Sportsters are like prison shanks, small..fast..DEADLY!

When life throws a curve...lean into it and open the throttle.

The wheels beneath me, the road ahead of me..These are the reason's why I ride!!

I only like whitewall tires on the older classic bikes myself, but that's just me.

I really appreciate input. I was thinking in order to pull it off, I agree with kev M; I would need new paint, retro air filter, less chrome, no front fender....

Pod's bike look's pretty good with it, but he's got that dyna-like tank and risers and chrome and spokes - all styling differences that help tie it together to the white-walls better.

I like whitewalls (obviously), but I think they look better with spoked wheels.

What about painting the letters on your tires white? I think there is a paint pen you can do it with. In my opinion that would fit your bike better.
