2008 Nightster misfires under load
I've got a new nightster with about 100 miles on it. The first 50 miles it ran great, then it start to feel a little "surgy" in 1st and 2nd gear, felt like an ignition misfire. On the highway at 65mph if I keep it in 4th gear it runs smooth but put it in 5th and it misfires and vibrates very badly. I disabled the rear cylinder (pulled off the plug wire) and there was very little RPM change, disable the front cylinder and the engine will almost stall. I swapped spark plugs from cylinder to cylinder with no change. I'm bringing it back to the dealer tomorrow but would like to know if anyone has experienced this.
Thanks

did you pull the spark plug from the rear and see if you're getting a consistent spark?

Thats ok, just wasn't sure what he was talking about. I'd just ask the dealer when you get it back what the problem was.
Sounds to me like you may have a faulty fuel pump or Sensor.
Make sure you let us know.

I come to this site to ask for help and get a couple smart asses, trying to talk like they actually know they are talking about, I can smell a rookie a mile away. First time and last time at this site, what a joke.
