Okay, last try. I think I'll stop it here for now and leave it.
And why do I always have extra parts left over?
I'm sorry it's a bit dark.

This is the 05 horn. It is very very loud. I think it's an A flat.

I have a 2002 XL883C....horn sounds like crap, not loud, and tinny. I asked Santa for something different.

Don't know about the newer horns, but I adjusted the horn on my '92. My horn is side-mounted with the slotted round chromed snap-on plastic cover.
When I got it, the horn was weak and sounded like crap. There is a small screw in the back. You loosen the jam nut and turn the screw to 'tune' the horn. I was able to get more volume and a better sound and it only took about five minutes.

I moved mine to the tank tab too, after I got my cover ( HAD to get it ), The 883c stock position is between the downtubes, and the cover rubbed the front fender when I rode, so I pulled the thing off, eliminated the mounts & reused one of the mounts to make a strap. Free relocation & no problems so far...
