Heavy Duty Progressive Shocks
I have been looking at different web sites to purchase 11.5 in Heavy Duty Progressive 412 or 440s. Every site I look at does not seem to handle the heavy duty shocks, only standard. Does anybody know of a vendor that sells the heavy duty versions, without having to purchase the springs separately? Thanks.

Here's a tip for you:
The shocks that are listed as "Heavy Duty" on an XL model, are the standard duty shocks for the FLH models. I don't know how far you can slam down the Touring Models, but just be looking in that range. Use the progressive website, figure out what part number you're looking for, then do a search for that part number, rather than by the fitment.

I looked all over as well, but you should be able to find them on ebay. I needed them for an 04 but the description said up to 03. I asked the seller and he told me they would fit, I bought them and they fit.

Dale,
If you're looking at Progressive 440's, why not consider getting a pair of Works shocks? Those are sprung and valved for your weight, unlike the Progressives (the shocks are made to order). The Works shocks start at $350, so they're a little cheaper than the Progressive 440s. I think the website address is www.worksperformance.com or something close to that.

Mikara you might just want to call jireh. Tell them what you're looking for and they'll be able to look it up for you. I know they were out of stock for awhile on the Progressive shocks.

Also, if they don't have any in stock, Phatperformanceparts has better prices than J&P Cycles just fyi. I've purchased from them quite a bit with good results.
