Dont get me wrong, I think paul jr designs some real nice works of art and paul sr. has one hell of a lucky rabbits foot but I aint waiting 2 hours to shake no mans hand and they are gonna draw some crowd. I want to walk through the place without bumping into someone every 2 seconds.

I don't blame you. I sure won't be shaking any of their hands either even if there was no crowd. 2 years ago I just walked by the exit to see which bikes they brought with them. a few looked like the same ones they had the year before mostly when almost nobody knew of them yet. there was a guy on a megaphone telling everyone to keep on moving and to only take a quick picture of the bikes and there was no autographs. When I looked the OCC guys were just leaning against there trailor they had there display by doing nothing. they should put them in another room or something by themselves so everyone who goes there to see the other stuff can see it.

I was standing on line at 11:50 yesterday morning, was in by 12:02. OCC was way in the back away from the main entrance and the have a viewing line set up. all the autographs will be today and tomorrow. The show was good but after 2 hours it all starts looking the same. Was cool to see Matt Hodges bike that won the build off against Indian Larry.

IN by 12:30, nice show Saw Billy Lane but did not go for an autograph ( long line and he always lets the chicks cut the line but I dont blame him) Some nice bikes no camera, did not want to carry too much. Check your coat for $2 its worth it.
bought some master formula metal gloss...works great on aluminum ,chrome.etc.
nice show!

Matt HOTCH, and I don't think he ran against Indian Larry. Larry was up against Paul Yaffe, Billy Lane, and Mondo from Denver's. If I remember correctly, Matt Hotch was up against those Martin Bors people and that other guy from texas, the guy with the Stroker's bar...
anyway...I might not go at all, now. I wound up with THE FLU, so I feel like crap...

We went to the show yesterday, and it was almost worth the $15 x 2 to get in the door.
I didnt really check out the custom bikes, and I tried to get past the vortex of the OCC display at the back of the joint, BUT, I did take the time to check out the vendors who sell their items in those big thick JP catalogs.
It was a great opportunity to check out things like Willie and Max, and T-Bags....items wich otherwise you would not have the opportunity to touch and feel, and talk to a knowledgeable representative right there, to walk you through the features of the products.
I took the opportunity to sit on every Harley that was there, and learned that Im not wild about the Vrod, and that highway pegs on a Dyna are not a substitute for forward controls. I also took the opportunity to sit on a yamaha rendition of a touring bike....probably a vstar sivlerado. Frankly I was unimpressed with the styling and quality of the finished product.
A wee bit overcrowded, but a good time.
