Default Weird rattly noise
I've got a '99 XL883c and it recently developed a rattle that I'm having a hard time tracking down. When I accelerate and then pull the clutch in and let the RPM's die down while I coast I can hear a weird rattle from the front wheel or somewhere forward on the motor? It's only a slow speed type thing. I checked the spokes and they feel pretty tight, and nothing seems to be loose. How do I track this thing down?

I have noticed the same thing on my '04 Roadster. I can't figure it out either. Mine has mags so its not the spokes. I thought it might be something in the front brakes.

I found that rattle on my XL 07883, there's this chrome plug thing covering the bolt that holds the headlamp to the brow, it was rattling...
