Default Puking oil

Can anyone tell me why? If I don't start her for a month she will puke out about 1/4 cup of oil out of the breather tube. Could I be over filling her, she doesn't have a dip stick or is she just suffering a little spring fever?

That's normal, they tend to sump oil from the tank to the engine over time and it settles in the crankcase.
As soon as you crank it over it's picked up and spit out the breather on the older ironheads.

That's exactly what I used to do.
Be sure and let it run for a while and get good and warmed up before you shut her down.
Give her a few blips on the throttle to clear it up,shut off the gas and run the carb dry till she stops
Shut off still cold or luke warm will cause condesation and acids from not fully burned mixture and not enough heat to expell any existing stuff in the engine.
This will cuase corrosion in your engine.....bad ok
