Feeling a little depressed.
I'm feeling a little depressed these days with a side of fear and some nostalgia.
And I absolutely know why.
And I also know it's no big deal. But, it's bugging me anyway.
I have only a month left in my thirties.
A month from today I will be 40 and, honestly, it's bothering me a little.

Forty was just this past december for me - felt a little wierd, especially with my wife still in her 20s and a lot of her friends just breaking into the 30s, but ya know what? It's no big deal.
You're only as old as the women with whom you sleep.

I'm turning 40 next month too - apparently before you! I heard 40 is the new 39 so I'm not even gonna blink when it comes. I find I'm really in a good spot now with my wife and kids, and I've got my health, my home, my job, and money in the bank and I'm just thankful to be where I am. I could not care less what the calendar says.

Im 48 and looking forward to getting older , it beats the alternative just think of all your buddies that did not make the 40 mark just except it and grow old graciously I think it is kinda cool.
