Hypercharger = ? HP
How much HP does the hypercharger add? What kind of jetting needs to be done?

If you are now running stock then adding just the Hypercharger (or any good hi flow AC) is not going to give you that much extra. You need to balance the AC with the pipes.
So, question is, what pipes are you running?

Hypercharger = Ugly
They Hypercharger does not force air into the carb. It looks like it is designed to do so but there is a vent to let air escape. Any air cleaner with a high flow filter will be more than what the engine needs until you get way up in horsepower and modifications. The jetting is different for each engine. Match the jetting to what the engine needs, not specifically to what parts you install.

As far as the AC is concerned there are a lot of good ones to choose from, but unless you are going for absolute performance the Hypercharger is more than up to it, the standard will handle engines up to 90 HP (if you need more you can add a side breather later).
If you like the look of the Hypercharger then go for it, you'll find that people either love it or hate it. However there is nothing magic about it, just like the Force Winder does not force wind into the carb (however it's one of my other favorites), the Hypercharger is not a blower, but it's kinda cool if that's the look you want.
One thing, it does protrude out from the side of the bike more than most so depending on your riding style and position you might not be comfortable.
As far as jetting is concerned, if you haven't yet read the Jetting 101 is this forum then do so, there is a trove of information there.
BTW your original question was about HP, the maker claims it adds 7-9 to a stock bike, but then you know what makers are like

IMO: the hypercharger is a COOOOL looking A/C. But it is not a performance upgrade.

once you get a air filter that has more air flow than the engine can use [almost all of them] it does not matter which one you use.
my honest openion is the unit you are talking about remindes me of a wanabe blower. i put the 7 inch ness big sucker on my 05 1200c. it out performes the SE unit i had on before. the shape and air capasity of the SE leaves something to be desired.
