Roadster owners.
I have a black pearl 07 R and am on the hunt for new pipes. I have been kicking around the idea of going with black ones. Anyone out there running this setup with pics to share? I have searched the boards and even flipped through ALL 42 pages of a "post your pipes" thread that only turned up one...
Thanks for your help on this!

I was debating on a set of black pipes for my 08 R.... decided that might be too much black.... went with chrome instead

I have the same bike and I went with the Screaming Eagles. Black would be too much.

Generally, the 2:1 pipes offer better power curve. I have seen 2 different black ones, but I can't remember who makes them. Call NRHS, they would know.

XLXR is right the 2-1 pipes are the clear winner on the dyno take a look in the dyno section. Rider 29206 gained 9HP just by switching from Vance & Hines pipes to a fatcat 2-1. I do like the look of the Vance & Hines short shots and saw one pic on here of a bike with the black ones and the y did look real good. But I am not willing to give up 9HP for a look.

+1 I like the contrast of black and chrome. All black doesn't do it for me. My 2¢.
