I learned that even if you have an 04 rubber mount if you ride long enough in a single stint your clutch hand will go white from vibration. You pre-rubber mount guys must be well hard.

I learned that I am still afraid of heights even when in a manlift, but it is worth it to get views like these:

I learned that if you're riding 2 up on a Dyna on your favorite twisties, don't even bother trying to keep up with your buddy who's solo on a Sporty. I scraped about 10 pounds of metal off of my bike, and he still had to wait for me half way down the mountain.

A little late to post this but I learned that a $50 pair or streetglide shocks should have been the first mod to my 48.As in before I rode it off of the dealers lot.
