Default Where can I get a lower kickstand?

Have an 04 883C that has 11" progressive 412's, and will soon be installing the White Bros. fork lowering kit, which will lower the front end by 2". The bike has very little lean now, and I expect that it will be almost upright with the fork lowering kit installed. My HD dealer told me that I have the shortest kickstand for my bike, and I have been unable to locate one that is shorter. Can anyone recommend where I can get a lower kickstand and maybe provide me a part no. and size I might be looking for?

Did your dealer check the stand for the '05 L model? When they used to make Huggers the Hugger had a shorter stand AFAIK.

Agreed! I also own a Hugger and the stand is plenty lowe enough for what you are talking about. I am actually raising the front end of my bike with the installation of a brand new(never used) set of '00 1200s forks that I picked up dirt cheap! My Im still leaving the back low so my stand will still work for me.
Good luck!

Thing is a Hugger stand my not just bolt onto an '04??? But I'd be inclined to think that the '05 L would have a shorter stand like the Huggers did, and that ought to be bolt on compatible.

I believe the dealer looked at the 05 883L stand, but I will have to double check. It would certainly seem that L stand would work. In the event that these stands are not compatable for my bike, any other suggestions?

I was hoping to avoid any cutting and welding, but it is certainly an option I am considering.

I have the HHI WideGlide 4 degree front end and 11" Progressive's in the rear so I also needed a lower stand. My local dealer ordered me one from a Hugger, it was $60. I hope this helps, James
