...both of those Scoots look great. The more I think about it the more I think my next bike is going to be a rubber mount bobber. Won't do it to the one I have now because it is my "Bling-Bling" bike.

Define "long". I've ridden 300 or so miles at a pop with no problems. It's not as comfortable as the padded seats but it's not as bad as you might think.

i'm currently looking for a spring solo for my '06 1200 custom. any recommedations on who to go with? so far, lickscycles seem to have some good looking seats that will fit.
